About 360 feedback surveys:

360 feedback surveys have been used for years to assess the performance of individuals along certain competencies from a multi rater perspective. In general, participants are evaluated by themselves, their subordinates, their superior, their peers and in some cases, by their internal or external customers.

Because many individuals, sorted in different rater groups are invited to give their opinion, 360 feedback surveys – also known as multi-rater surveys – provide a more objective view of how an employee is perceived than a traditional “Leader to Report” review. The gap analysis between his(her) own point of view and those of others, plus, the evolution of results over time yearly appraisals, are valuable tools to assess oneself and improve performance.
